Many brides & grooms are opting for something... a little different for their engagement sessions! Instead of a traditional setting, they want something more suited to their unique personalities. Enter the Adventure Engagement Session! This type of session starts with finding a location that is a little off the beaten path. Not a (typical) park, but maybe a national park. Think mountains, cliffs, ocean, forest, desert, jungle, etc. Adventure sessions can be whatever you want them to be! That's why they are so amazing. They aren't like everyone else's engagement photos and they hone in on the type of things you love! I was fortunate to be able to shoot an adventurous couple outside of Charleston, South Carolina, on an area of beach away from the crowds! Vanny & Frank loved the idea of an ocean setting and we were excited to shoot here on Sullivan's Island.

An Adventure Wedding is very similar. Usually an intimate ceremony with few (or no) guests and in the beauty of a natural setting somewhere breathtaking. Some refer to these as elopements or intimate weddings, but whatever you call it, it's beautiful and an adventure!!
